The treated water that flows into cleaning and distribution reservoirs are mandatorily disinfected, but pathogens can be found when the disinfectant’s residual time is short. A PDF baffle wall is installed to prevent this by increasing the residual time of disinfection in order to minimize the pathogens and reduce the occurrence of stagnant water and short circuit flow.
